01About AMBREA and the seller
AMBREA is the commercial brand name of a Baltic amber jewelry business based in Lithuania. Products on this website are sold by MB "Mini up", company code 305944654, registered at Santariškių g. 101-1, LT-08465 Vilnius, Lithuania, VAT code LT100014556219. MB "Mini up" is the legal business entity responsible for orders, payments, fulfillment and consumer obligations under these terms. Contact: info@ambrea.eu, +370 624 13521.
02Scope and acceptance
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the AMBREA website. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
03Products and natural amber
Our jewelry is made with natural Baltic amber, a fossilised tree resin formed over millions of years. Because it is an organic material, each piece is individual: colour, transparency, natural inclusions, surface texture and bead shape may vary slightly from one piece to another, within the characteristics stated in the product description.
These small natural variations are not defects. However, every item must conform to its description, including the stated type of amber, colour family, materials, metal and dimensions. Natural variation never justifies delivering a product that is materially different from its description, and it does not affect your statutory rights.
04Photography and colour
We photograph our jewelry carefully to show it as accurately as possible. Natural light, screen settings and the individual character of amber mean the piece you receive may differ slightly in tone from the images. Dimensions and materials are given in each product description, and these written details form part of the product description.
05Availability
Products are offered while stock lasts. Availability shown on the website reflects our current inventory. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will inform you without delay and refund any amount paid for that item in full.
06Prices, currencies and taxes
All prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT. Shipping costs and any other mandatory charges are shown at checkout before you confirm your order, together with the total price payable. The price that applies is the one shown at the time you place your order. If a clearly obvious pricing error occurs, we will contact you before processing the order and you may choose whether to proceed.
07Ordering and order confirmation
You place an order by adding items to your bag and completing the secure Shopify checkout. Before submitting, you can review your order and correct any input errors. By clicking the final order button, you submit an order with an obligation to pay.
After submitting, you will receive an automatic email acknowledging that we have received your order. This acknowledgment summarises your order. The sales contract is concluded [owner item 2]. When your order is dispatched, we will notify you by email.
08Payment methods
Payment is processed securely during Shopify checkout. The payment methods available for your order are displayed at checkout and include [owner item 3]. Your payment details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by AMBREA.
09Shipping and delivery
We currently ship to the destinations available at checkout, which include countries inside and outside the European Union. Available delivery services, costs and estimated delivery times are calculated from your address and shown at checkout before you pay; see also our Shipping & Returns page. Carriers: [owner item 4]. Unless otherwise agreed, we deliver within 30 days of the contract being concluded. Where a tracking number is available for your shipment, we will share it with you by email. Risk of loss passes to you when you, or a person you designate (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the goods.
10Customs duties and import taxes
Orders delivered outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import VAT or handling fees charged by the destination country. Unless they are shown and collected at checkout, these charges are not included in our prices and are payable by the recipient to the relevant authority or carrier. [owner item 5]
11Order cancellation
If you wish to cancel an order before it is dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible at info@ambrea.eu. If the order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it and refund you in full. Once dispatched, you may still use your right of withdrawal described below.
12Right of withdrawal and returns
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, take physical possession of the goods. If your order is delivered in several parcels, the period runs from receipt of the last item.
How to withdraw. Inform us of your decision by a clear statement (for example an email to info@ambrea.eu) before the withdrawal period expires. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not required. It is enough that you send your notice before the period ends.
Returning the goods. Send the items back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14 days have expired. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Return address: MB "Mini up", Santariškių g. 101-1, LT-08465 Vilnius, Lithuania. This does not apply to faulty or non-conforming products, for which we bear the legally required return costs — see the section below.
Condition of the goods. You may handle the items as you would in a shop to establish their nature and characteristics. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that purpose.
Partial returns. You may withdraw from the whole order or from individual items. If you return only part of an order, we refund the price of the returned items; the original delivery cost is refunded to the extent required by applicable law.
Exceptions. The right of withdrawal does not apply where a statutory exception applies, in particular to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. Any such exception will be clearly stated on the relevant product page before purchase.
13Refunds
If you withdraw from your purchase, we will refund all payments received for the withdrawn items, including the cost of standard delivery, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of sending them, whichever is earlier. Refunds are made using the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise, and you will not incur any fees for the refund. If you chose a delivery method more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery we offered, we are not required to refund the additional cost.
14Faulty or non-conforming products
This section is separate from, and in addition to, your 14-day right of withdrawal. If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or does not match its description, please contact us at info@ambrea.eu, ideally with photographs of the item and packaging.
You may first ask us to repair or replace the item, free of charge and within a reasonable time. If repair or replacement is impossible or disproportionate, is not completed within a reasonable time, causes you significant inconvenience, or the defect is serious, you may request a proportionate price reduction or terminate the contract and receive a refund. Where we ask you to return a faulty item, we bear the reasonable cost of doing so.
15Statutory rights and legal guarantee
As a consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity under EU and Lithuanian law, which applies to defects that become apparent within at least two years from delivery. We do not offer any additional commercial warranty. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory rights.
16Jewelry care
Amber is light and relatively soft. To keep your jewelry beautiful, avoid contact with perfume, cosmetics, chemicals and cleaning products, protect it from knocks, extreme heat and prolonged direct sunlight, and store it separately in a soft pouch. Clean gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Damage caused by misuse or ordinary wear is not a defect, but this does not affect your rights for faults present at delivery.
17Intellectual property
All content on this website, including the AMBREA name, logo, designs, photography and text, belongs to MB "Mini up" or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. It may not be copied or used commercially without our written permission.
18Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
If a dispute arises, please first contact us in writing at info@ambrea.eu so we can try to resolve it; we will reply within 14 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer the dispute, within one year of contacting us, to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority of Lithuania (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba), Vilniaus g. 25, LT-01402 Vilnius, vvtat.lt, which resolves consumer disputes out of court free of charge. Consumers in other EU countries may also seek assistance from the European Consumer Centre in their country. You may also bring a claim before the competent courts.
19Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published at the time of your order applies to that order.
